“What would Michael Jordan do?”

I have been watching a number of sports documentaries, including All of Nothing (about NFL teams) and The Last Dance (NBA and Michael Jordan).

I also read an article by Wayne Rooney in the Sunday Times yesterday which made reference to the last dance, and especially the way in which the Phil Jackson of the Chicago Bulls needed to coach Michael to appreciate the strength of valuing the team.

Having a great team around you is important, but only if you operate as a team and allow everyone to contribute. Leveraging the philosophy that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

However, for individual motivation, Michael Jordan’s work ethic, determination to win at all costs, and the way he lifted everyone around him to be the best possible version of themselves is truly inspirational.

You may not be sports minded and find doing any type of physical fitness difficult, but with all things in live, doing something everyday and gradually improve day-by-day and week-by-week will set you on the right path and you will no doubt experience a healthier mind and body in these difficult times.
